How long will the course take to finish?
The course is designed to take approximately 40 hours of study time complete. Since it is 100% online and available 24/7 you can study the course at your own convenience. The average student takes about 30-40 days to complete the course. We have seen some complete the course in less than a week.
Is there a Provincial Exam that I still need to take?
In Alberta, Manitoba (Effective Jan 2015), Saskatchewan and Ontario upon completion of our course you are still required to write the Provincial Exam.
For Alberta and Manitoba students we will arrange an exam sitting for you upon satisfactory completion of the course.
For Ontario students must complete the basic training course as well as provide proof of Emergency Level First Aid Certification before we obtain a course completion number which will enable you to register for the Ontario Provincial Exam at Ontario Security Testing (www.ontariosecuritytesting.com)
In Saskatchewan, once you complete the course you can contact the Ministry of Justice to book an Exam:
